Soft window light, thoughtful props, and a space that’s ready when you are. Welcome to The Aubrey Hall, Janesville’s natural light studio for photographers.
The Aubrey Hall is rented exclusively to professional photographers for their client sessions. When you book, the whole studio is yours for your reserved time, with no sharing and no interruptions. Just you, your clients, and beautiful natural light. Whether you’re photographing families, newborns, milestones, boudoir, or brand sessions, this is a space where you can focus on your craft and let your clients feel right at home.
On the second floor of the old Hayes Block Building, Suite 204 fills with light all on its own. The Aubrey Hall opened three years ago to be the place we always wished existed, somewhere a photographer could walk in, set down her bag, and simply begin. Now I (Elizabeth) share it with Ashlee of PB&J Memories, and together we keep it ready for you. Bring the people you love to photograph, and let the light do the rest.

Hey, Friend!
I'm Elizabeth, owner of The Aubrey Hall for three years now and the photographer behind Birchwood Studio. I'm also a mom of four, so I know a thing or two about juggling, and a whole lot about why a calm, beautiful space to work in matters. I joined The Aubrey Hall because I know what it's like to be a photographer looking for the perfect light, the right props, and a spot where clients can relax. Now I get to share that with all of you! I'm a people person through and through, and one of my favorite parts of owning this studio is getting to see the work of talented photographers who walk through our doors. I can't wait to see what you create here!

Hey, I’m Ashlee! Photographer, creative at heart, coffee enthusiast, and one of the owners behind The Aubrey Hall.
I’ve been a photographer for 14 years and own PB&J Memories, where I photograph everything from families and newborns to boudoir. Photography has been a huge part of my life, and I’m always looking for ways to get creative, try something new, and make beautiful things.
When the opportunity to become part owner of The Aubrey Hall came along, it felt like a pretty perfect fit. I love that this space gives other photographers the opportunity to step outside their usual setup, get creative, and have a beautiful space to bring their own visions to life.
When I’m not photographing clients or at the studio, you’ll probably find me building dreams with my husband or at a Parker sporting event! While I love being a photographer, my most favorite job is being a mom to some pretty awesome kids!
